My Front Room

This post is away from the topics of maths, science and trivia that I would prefer, but it is a project that I have spent quite a bit of time on recently, so I thought I'd give it a post. Here are some before and after pictures of my front room:

I hastily grab my tablet on remembering that I should probably take some before shots.

My house was painted in a very safe Magnolia to sell and I'm trying to introduce some more colour to proceedings.

Most of the stuff removed so that we can take up the carpet.

The horrible underlay is only forming a fine layer between the basement and this room at this point,

Floor down, paint up.

Happier cat. Archway complete.

I spent about two days with the displaced piano rather dominating my sitting room.
