This marks the first attempt at a crossword with a theme to it. In this case seven of the answers have something in common.
It also marks the first time that I filled in the whole grid with words before I started writing the clues. In the past I have always made the clues as I went along, but I've been reading lots of articles on crossword setting and I found it a more pleasant way to do it.
